Muckenthaler Mansion Wedding | Kristine + Elvis

Kristine is the oldest of four siblings. She has two younger sisters and one brother.

When it came time for the toasts, her siblings each took turns giving heartfelt speeches. Her two sisters went first. The last speech came from her brother. As he started to speak, tears started rolling down his cheeks. Seeing their brother brought on happy crying and hugs from his sisters. Their mom joined them on the stage for a giant group hug.

Since I am the oldest with a younger sister and baby brother (I say baby, but he's already 14), this moment stuck out to me the most. Capturing moments like these are exactly why I love my job. Kristine and Elvis are so kind hearted, and it reflects in their family and friends. They all made me feel so welcome, and I'm so thankful to have been their wedding photographer.

I had shot their engagement session almost a year ago, so I was waiting eagerly for their wedding to finally come. Today, I finally get to show their wedding photography at Muckenthaler Mansion on the blog. Kristine and Elvis, thank you for everything. I'm happy to have met you both, your family, and friends!

I love these little name tags that Kristine made for each of the girl's hangers!

Kristine is so talented-- she DIY'ed a lot of the elements of her day. The vow books were one of the many beautiful things she made!

Did I mention how much I love floral things? The robe photo is always one of my favorites!

I've never had such helpful bridesmaids before. These ladies actually helped me set up some of the detail shots.

Both Kristine and Elvis' parents were so sweet. They both thanked me throughout the day for working hard for their children.

The bridal suite at the venue didn't have too many windows and was smaller, so I'm happy that Kristine and her girls came out to this room to do these prep photos. The large windows with plenty of natural light coming in made for gorgeous images!

Kristine and Elvis opted for a first look, giving them a sweet moment together before all the events started. We were also able to sneak in a few bride and groom photos before the ceremony.

I had to run off after the first look to capture these untouched ceremony details. Kristine and I worked this time into the timeline for me to shoot before the guests came.

Though Elvis had seen Kristine for the first look, he still had a HUGE smile on his face when he saw her coming down the aisle.

 And they're married!!!

Kristine, you are absolutely gorgeous!!

One of my favorite groomsmen shots by my second shooter and best friend Audey.

Since it was warm outside, we opted to do some of the bridal party portraits in the nice room with lots of AC. This gave them a chance to cool down before we went outside to do more photos.

This bridesmaids photo is one of my favorites. Their Lulu's gold sequins bridesmaids dresses are to die for.

Groomsmen looking dapper in their bow ties, and Elvis stealing the show in his white suit.

Since their ceremony was midday, there weren't too many shaded options. Luckily, Muckentaler Mansion is a cultural center with this huge shaded stage.

When I got the girls into this pose, they squealed with excitement, "It's like the Bridesmaids movie poster!"

Fun fact: I know the girls' feet were tired from being in their heels, so I let them take them off and just stand on their tippy toes when it was time to take a photo.

Since their reception hall had no windows, the pink uplighting against the white curtain drapes really made a difference for their detail photos.

Hanging wisteria is so dreamy!

If you know me, you'll know that I love gold foiled everything.

Can you believe that Kristine DIY'ed this donut wall? She's so amazing!

The top left image of the collage below is one of my favorite reception images because of how candid and fun it is!

Snuck in a photo booth photo with them ;)
