DoubleTree DTLA Kyoto Garden Wedding | Jen + Albert

Following their candle lighting unity ceremony, Jen and Albert took a private moment to exchange a few words. Jen closed her eyes as she listened. Though I couldn't hear their whispers, I saw a smile spread across Jen's face. It was as though nothing could be more perfect than this moment.

Maybe it's because Jen and I are both Arcadia High and USC alums, but when I met her, I felt like we were old friends reconnecting. She has a huge heart, and I'm thankful to have met her. When I shot hers and Albert's engagement session, I saw them both light up. You could tell immediately that these two love hanging out with each other no matter what they are doing.

It might sound like a cliche to say that your wedding is the happiest day of your life, but it truly seemed that way as Jen and Albert laughed with their friends. I'll never forget capturing that moment during their ceremony because it's exactly why I love being a wedding photographer.

Jen and Albert, I'm so happy that you two have found each other. I'm thankful not only to have been your photographer, but also that I had the opportunity to meet such an incredibly kind couple.

Can you believe her bridesmaid Lauren designed the invitation?

I love their wedding colors-- they popped so much off the light backgrounds.

Love when my brides get floral robes!

Jen knew that the venue's bridal room didn't have windows, so she booked this gorgeous suite in the hotel to make sure we had plenty of space for the getting ready photos and details. She's a true T. Wu Bride!

Loved that both the bride and groom had all the details ready for us to shoot when we arrived :)

This was the sweet moment!

Since I was one of the first vendors to talk to them, they took my photo timeline into consideration when planning their wedding day. Thanks to that, we had a TON of portrait time!

Their bridal party was so sweet, and made the portrait time with them easy.

I had so much fun shooting for these girls!

They remembered doing this shot at their engagement session. Like I always say, the engagement is a practice for the wedding day!

The girls referred to the left shot as a Pinterest worthy photo-- I agree!

The reception setup was simply beautiful :)

Jen was so happy during her wedding day!

It was so sweet that her dad's speech made her cry happy tears.

My favorite shot of the day is grabbing one with my couple!
