1950's Vintage Emerald Saticoy Country Club Wedding

Happy anniversary Ellen and Scott! Since I didn't get a chance to blog your beautiful 1950's vintage emerald wedding before, I thought this would be the perfect time.

Ellen and Scott's wedding was such a beautiful sunny day in Southern California. Ellen is one of the sweetest brides you'll ever meet. She was so relaxed during the entire wedding, and her smile is contagious to everyone in the room. When I met Scott, I instantly saw how well they complimented each other. They both have silly and fun personalities, and their wedding matched them perfectly.

One of my favorite things about this wedding was that Ellen integrated so many personal details throughout the day! She loves the classy vintage style of the 1950's--her dress, makeup, and shoes all matched the time period. Her favorite movie as a kid was The Little Mermaid, and Ariel's flowing emerald green tail inspired the wedding colors for the day. Ellen is so talented that she made the bouquets, centerpieces, and many of the other details from the wedding!

They chose to get married at Saticoy Country Club in Somis, CA. Family is very important to both of them, so it's no surprise that they chose a venue that many of their relatives also got married at. During the wedding, you could see the love not only between Ellen and Scott, but also their family and friends. Ellen even appointed her brother as a bridesmaid; I absolutely loved how tight knit they were.

Ellen and Scott, thank you so much for having me as your wedding photographer. I miss you both, and happy anniversary!
